Un vecchio saggio una volta disse "Puoi avere qualsiasi cosa nella vita se sacrifichi tutto per quella cosa". Quello che il saggio intendeva dire è che ogni cosa ha un prezzo, quindi prima di affrontare una battaglia è meglio decidere quanto si è disposti a perdere. Molto spesso fare quello che ti far star bene non significa fare ciò che è giusto. E aprirsi a qualcuno significa abbattere i muri che hai costruito per tutta la vita. Ovviamente i sacrifici più duri sono quelli che ci piombano addosso all'improvviso, quando non c'è tempo di escogitare una strategia, di fare una scelta, o di valutare le potenziali perdite. Quando questo accade, quando è la battaglia a scegliere noi e non viceversa allora il sacrificio diventa più grande di quanto riusciamo a sopportare.
